Okay. Are you ready?
I finally started reading The Likeness, and ohhh man is it good. The first 20 pages of it at least. It is so good I had to put it down because I got freaked out. I don't want to say too much about it and give it away, so I will fight the urge. I'll just tell you a little about it.(:
There's this detective in Dublin, Ireland and at the begining of the book she makes a person with a man named Frank. Now when I say makes a person, I mean an undercover identity. Turns out a couple of years later, in a murder case, her undercover identity (not a real person) was killed. A person that looks just like her with all the same background she gave that undercover identity (name and everything).
Ahhh my goodness this is getting gooddd(:
I am no one bit dissapointed:D

AHHHHHHH!
okay.
I didn't read today.
I know it sounds weird. Because, I mean, what would a high school student have to do besides watch television all day? (especially since I'm on Christmas Break) Right? Well, I didn't watch television all day. I was busy, so I had no chance to start reading The Likeness. Hopefully, I will start tonight, and I will post as soon as I start. But right now I have to go. My parents are going to this party and I have to help clean the house, help my sister with homework, etc.
Then again, who cares. No ones is reading this anyways.

The Likeness: by Tana French
Hello,
I've decided my first book is going to be The Likeness by: Tana French.
I heard about this book from a lady on a plane. She just happened to be reading this book, and we were talking and she told me it was really excellent. Tana French won the Edgar Award for IN THE WOODS, so I'm guessing this should be good. Right?
I'm going to try to read a variety of books, and i have it understood that this is a mystery novel. I hope its good. It sounds like a page turner.(:

12 books
Hello(:
My name is Evelia and I'm brand new to this whole blogging thing.
I just saw the movie Julie & Julia, and I decided making a blog would be pretty cool. Except, I can't cook. AT ALL. Except for brownies and cookies (but that's baking duhh). So what I've decided to do is start a blog about books because I really like to read. The only problem is I hardly have time to read. My solution to this problem is to read one book per month. That way at the end of a year I'll have read at least 12 books just for fun. Maybe I'll read more than that, but i at least want to read 12. This is kind of like a commitment thing. I hope you enjoy my blog.
